Volunteers helping build the annual trap tree.
Rockland, Maine - Friday morning (November 16th, 2012) volunteered to help build Rockland's annual Trap Tree in Mildred Merrill Park overlooking Harbor Park. It is a tradition to have a trap tree located in this park overlooking Harbor Park. Volunteers that helped build this years lobster trap tree are people from Coast Guard, Apprenticeshop, Bulldoc and Rockland Main Street Inc. It really is a team effort in building the annual trap tree that has 23 rows and is hollow inside. Below is the list of events next weekend for Festival of Lights and photographs of the annual trap tree being built Friday, November 16th, 2012. Also, below there is information on a chance to win many of the traps used to build Rockland's annual lobster trap tree.
