The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who wassupporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Camella M. Steedley, 31, of San Diego, Calif., died Oct. 3, whilesupporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. She wasassigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I MarineExpeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
The cause of death is under investigation.
